  • 16+ years of experience working on international development related issues with 11+ years of field-based experience in Africa, MENA, Central America, and Asia.

  • Excellent experience with a variety of donors including USAID / BHA, European and UN donors.

  • Excellent knowledge of the UN Cluster and Working Group System

  • MERL / MEAL / MEL / Research Experience Includes:

    • Excellent mixed methods, research design and research tool development skills, including sampling, quantitative and qualitative methods

    • Expertise working in fragile contexts, including running data collection in conflict-affected settings utilizing a variety of data collection tools and software that include Snap, Open Data Kit (ODK), Kobo, and other survey development / data collection software.

    • Experience developing USAID AMELPs, Project Management Plans (PMPs) and other USAID M&E tools; strong knowledge of CLA frameworks.

    •  Creation of M&E Plans, indicator tracking tables and a variety of donor specific tools at the program and organization and systems level.

    • Experience training enumerators in data collection working in fragile and conflict-affected contexts.

    • Excellent functional experience in data analysis and visualization.

    • Strong functional understanding of knowledge management and project management systems including SharePoint;

    • Excellent experience technically supporting M&E for proposals.

  • Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational working with a variety of internal and external stakeholders utilizing a cross-cultural, anti-colonial and antiracist lens.

  • Approaches: complexity aware adaptive management with deadline sensitivity for deliverables

  • Fluent in French (speaking and writing), working knowledge of Spanish and Arabic.
